Jack Hughes has emerged as the face of the New Jersey Devils franchise, and if you’re building your fantasy team for 2025-26, you can’t afford to ignore him. Coming off a strong but injury-shortened season, Hughes tallied 27 goals and 43 assists for 70 points in just 62 games in 2024-25. Had he played all 82, he was on pace for 93 points — elite company.
For the 2025-26 NHL season, we’re projecting Jack Hughes to record:
- 33 goals
- 60 assists
- Total: 93 points
This projection takes into account Hughes’ consistent power play time alongside Stefan Noesen, Jesper Bratt, Nico Hischier, and Dougie Hamilton. This unit has been a difference-maker and should be even more lethal with a full season of chemistry.
Will Jack Hughes Top His 2024-25 Production with the New Jersey Devils?
Health will be the key. If Hughes stays healthy, he’s a lock for 80+ points and has an outside shot at crossing 90. His skating remains elite, his playmaking unmatched on the team, and his role as a dual-threat on the top line and top power play ensures high fantasy value in all formats.
The one area to watch? Faceoffs and shooting percentage. If Hughes improves in either, expect that assist total to climb into the high 50s or low 60s, giving you second-round fantasy value at a third-round ADP.
He may not be in the tier of Connor McDavid or Nathan MacKinnon yet, but he’s right on the doorstep—and if New Jersey pushes for a deep playoff run, Hughes will be the catalyst. Don’t sleep on this Devil.
